Zukunft Personal 2019

Zukunft Personal is the largest HR management fair. In 2019 it was back in Cologne, Germany from 15 to 17 September. The event was hosted at a beautiful location. The outside area got a view over the river and at sunset the view was amazing.
GLOBALS‘ team was proud to participate for the third time. And we brought AiRelo with us again to show it to HR leaders, decision-makers and managers and just like in 2018 we were gonna teach them all about ‘Startup Village’, a hub designed especially for startups with digital solutions for companies.

We had our own stand for 3 days, which was filled with information about AiRelo. Besides that, we were also giving away many exciting Airelo goodies, like our iconic green glasses. Stylish. There were also some other cool Stands at the event where we talked to interesting entrepreneurs.
Some people gave presentations which attracted a lot of attention. One of those people was our own Mario Paladini. He gave a presentation about Networking.

During our time at the event, we got the chance to interview people about their companies. This led to great conversations with great people. Fun photos were taken as well.

We’re looking forward to next year’s event!

Oracle OpenWorld Dubai

Oracle Open World states that success today requires resiliency, reinvention and thinking ahead. It was an amazing opportunity for us to gain expertise in the topic of enterprise and start-up world from experts.  Retail, manufacturing, financial services, technology, and the public sector were the main sectors of Oracle Open World.

Wisdom always wins and knowledge is the heart of the business. Moreover, people who use their knowledge gain competitive advantage. Success` keyword is a data-driven culture. The achievement also requires leveraging a later generation infrastructure and explanations to make that vision a reality.

The future is always self-governing. Artificial intelligence and machine learning are the main sectors change many things in the business world, and society as general. The organizations that take advantages of the power of technologies nowadays will make a difference in the future.

Speed is also very important to make you noticeable in the business world. The faster people learn, the faster they achieve. As GLOBALS, we are so happy to discover how to accelerate our business to increase agility and out-innovate the competition. We have already begun to explore our future today. The World Government Summit

The World Government Summit organization purposes to frame the future generation of governments. This summit brings the public and private sectors together to cooperate with world experts. Moreover, the summit purposes of helping create a positive effect for citizens worldwide.

The World Government Summit hosts its Annual Gathering in February of every year in Dubai, UAE. The seventh one was between 10-12 February 2019. We are honored to have been invited to this summit as Club GLOBALS.

Tony Robbins gave an amazing speech on the topic of “The Evolution of Leadership and Meaning” in the World Government Summit. He is an entrepreneur, best-selling author, philanthropist, and the nation`s #1 life and business strategist. Arianna Huffington, Daniel Kahneman, Jeffrey Sachs, Mukhisa Kituyi, and Liqun Jin were some of the other successful speakers gave the speech in this incredible summit.

Start Alliance Dubai

Dubai SME, Start Alliance partner in Dubai, is an Agency of the Department of Economic Development, and part of the Government of Dubai. They both together developed a market expansion program that perfectly matches the needs and wishes of startups. Companies are able to choose from the various number of services, many of them no charge or highly subsidized. These services consist of mainly three categories: soft landing, market access, and funding. We are very honored to be invited Start Alliance Dubai Program. It was a pleasure for us to explore new opportunities and learn about doing business in Dubai.

Arrival Day

There was the desert safari activity on the invitation of Dubai SME and Start Alliance on the first-day people arrived. The safari has included a jeep trip, camp, and dinner along with other activities available at the camp area such as camel riding, sandboarding, and quad biking. This safari activity was incredible for a welcome event in Dubai.

The First Day

We started the first day with meetings and site visits in Dubai SME, Business Village Hi2. Later, there was the introduction of Dubai Economy representative, introduction by Dubai SME presentation, introduction to ABRA program, and introduction by Hi2 into the start-up ecosystem in Dubai and UAE.

After these introductions, the sustainable city participants visited the city that is the first net-zero energy development in the Emirate of Dubai. Dubai is designed around the strategy of harmonizing social, environmental and economic sustainability. We had the opportunity to learn about the various projects and concepts being tested at TSC. Dubai Design District participants also visited one of Dubai’s most iconic business areas. Special design community created this district to serve a creative ecosystem. His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Future Foundation under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai launched Dubai Future Accelerators in 2016.

We ended the day at AREA 2071. It was a co-working space build up to connect various types of people and organizations to focus on important human challenges. AREA 2071 was created to support the people thrive and the next generation of Emirati innovators and the best talents from all over the world. At the end of the day, there was Mohammed Bin Rashid Innovation Fund Masterclass for all participants.

The Second Day

The second day, there were site visits to Sheikh Mohammed Centre for cultural understanding. It was a non-profit organization that increases understanding of Emirati culture, customs, traditions, and religion. After that, there was The Old and the New Dubai (The Dubai Frame) Event. The UAE is the latest cultural landmark, Dubai Frame is an iconic structure that ‘frames’ exciting views of Old and New Dubai. Dubai Frame celebrates the story of Dubai from its establishment to its future plans.

The Third Day

In the third day, there was the Venture Capital introduction by Cultiv8 and other VCs. Furthermore, there was also an introduction to Dubai Business Angel Network, Naseba capital, Beehive, Dubai Cultiv8, and Wamda.

It’s coming back to town! The Asia Pacific Week returns back to Berlin this year. It is the 6^th edition of the Asia Pacific Week in Berlin. Every year there are a lot of interesting topics for startups, investors, SMEs, and industries., but several topics will be coming back every year to discuss the newest developments of them. This year is no exception, as Smart Cities, Startup Ecosystems, Innovation, and Digitalization are the main topics that will be discussed during this week. The exact program will follow below, with the exact locations. As like every year there are several different locations with an array of different speakers.

23rd of April – Opening / Embassy Day

ESMT European School of Management and Technology, Schloβplatz 1. 10178 Berlin

The opening will be on the evening of 23^rd April. Various high-ranking representatives from Asia and Germany will be attending the opening event, which will be hosted by artists from all over the world.

Before the opening, the Embassy Day will have already taken place. The embassies will host their own events, mostly business seminars. They will be cooperated by delegations from Asia. All of those seminars will center around the main theme of the Asia Pacific Week.

24^th April Conferences on Digitalization

ESMT European School of Management and Technology, Schloβplatz 1. 10178 Berlin

The second day is the theme Conferences on Digitalization. It’s a very broad topic, that can be categorized into other sub-topics. Different companies will host different subjects. Every company will host the subject they specialize in. We will also be presenting a topic, by giving a presentation about AiRelo with the subject ‘Chatbots and AI making the services of cities smarter’. The AiRelo presentation will take place at 15.00 – 15.15 pm. 

25^th & 26^th April Connecting Startup Cities

Haus Ungarn, Karl-Liebknecht-Straβe 9, 10178 Berlin

Those two days will be themed for the Startup Connecting Cities. The startup audience and speakers will discuss topics like Virtual Reality, FinTech, Internationalization, Hardware, IoT and many other subjects. These days are also very associated with the StartUp AsiaBerlin project.

27^th April Satellite Events

Various locations in Berlin

There will be many satellite events organized on the topics of digitalization and startups. Those events will be hosted by the partner institutions across Berlin.

23^rd – 29^th April Culture Program

Various locations in Berlin

Throughout the whole week, there will be a lot of cultural institutions who are presenting the specific aspects of the culture and society of the Asia Pacific region.
