From the 11th until 14th of September, AiRelo from GLOBALS was hosted by the German American Chamber of Commerce and VentureOut at the STEP Program in NYC.

The aim of such an event is to give assistance to German Startups to promote the entry of their ground-based projects in the U.S. market by meeting venture capital providers, clients, local accelerators, startup incubators, and by pitching in front of a panel of investors.

We found in this invitation the perfect opportunity to present officially AiRelo, the latest milestone of GLOBALS. AiRelo is a smart city registration assistant, which makes bureaucracy simple when it comes to registering or getting your ID Card in a new city. It is a multi-language, multi-city, and powered by AI Chat Bot that simplifies your life.

STEPNYC Program turned to be more than a promoting event. It was a friendly-environment five days’ venue where we met a lot of people and could learn and work with the best mentors and experts.

The first day we had a busy schedule. We attended different strategic sessions related to doing business in the USA; How to communicate and PR; and ended up with a one to one monitoring in order to prepare us for the Pitch night.

The second day the meetings focused more on the company insights like the legal strategy. We also discussed the best way for introducing to investors, met different partners, and went to the HQ of Cubico, a German Accelerator.

Wednesday was amazing! It was the last day before the Pitch night, we had the last discussion about expansion & growth strategies; and a meeting about Personal branding by the hand of Alexander Schaper. So inspiring!

Moreover, we had the opportunity to attend a Pitching showcase from Austrian startups, and have a taste of how it would be for the next day.

Finally the Pitch night! During the morning the last pitching preparation, and in the afternoon we could present our project AiRelo, in front of the audience.

Before and after the presentations we were networking together and it was encouraging how much positive feedback we received.

Friday was a day for reflecting and evaluate how the week had been going, the usefulness of the meetings applied to our projects, our future business plans and expectations.

Overall, the experience was amazing!! Not only because AiRelo entered officially to the US market, also because we brought home many friends, collaborations, partnerships, and feedback to continue growing!
